Hilton Waikoloa Village Balcony Beach View
Ocean beach view from our balcony at the Hilton Waikoloa Village. This resort has 62 acres along the Kohala Coast. The other hotel in this resort area is the Waikoloa Beach Marriott Resort. There are two shopping areas: The Kings Court and the Queens Court. Many timeshare condos, plenty of activities and a full size golf course.
We stayed six days on the Big Island of Hawaii. Went in the off season in September. The weather was balmy with temperatures in the 90's and extremely humid. The night we arrived, Chili experienced a 8.3-magnitude earthquake on Sept. 16, 2015. My brother-in-law's wife emailed us to find out if we were all right because the effects of this earthquake would have been felt in Hawaii in the form of a tsunami. The advisory for the state of Hawaii continued for a couple of days after we arrived but nothing traumatic happened.
The video above is an extremely short video taken off our balcony. I mention "deck" but should have said balcony. We were on the 4th floor and overlooking the golf course and ocean.
